Currently, we are seeking a Quality Engineer to be based at our corporate location in Cincinnati, OH.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives through the collection and analysis of data, as well as supporting our manufacturing plants and suppliers in quality improvement projects. The Quality Engineer will assist with new product launches by establishing appropriate process controls and quality monitoring using statistical techniques.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Gather, compile, and analyze quality data, and convert into usable and actionable information
  • Identify projects to improve efficiency, quality and effectiveness of processes
  • Lead assigned projects in manufacturing, quality assurance, distribution and safety
  • Utilize appropriate problem solving tools to identify root causes and corrective actions for productivity improvement and waste reduction projects
  • Quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate product quality and report results
  • Utilize core Quality Engineering tools and methodologies for product/process evaluation and improvement
  • Implement programs and projects on time and on budget
  • Prepare and distribute effective communication for customers and operations facilities

Qualifications:

  • Technical Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing quality experience, preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, MS Access and Enterprise Software)
  • Formal problem solving training in Six Sigma, 5-Why, etc.
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds
