Currently, we are seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to be based at our Union, SC location. This is a high-tech/digital/smart manufacturing facility with recent upgrades to PLCs, electrical/controls components, and manufacturing equipment.

The Facility Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the physical maintenance of the facility including plant equipment, buildings, and property.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively train all maintenance associates.
  • Schedule and lead maintenance, 4M, and contractor meetings as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and cost-effective maintenance program.
  • Maintain a tracking system for work orders and spare parts.
  • Schedule & perform preventative maintenance.


  • Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of five years managing plant maintenance, strong electrical & PLC (programmable logic controller) and mechanical experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with Wonderware is a plus.
  • Familiarity with boilers, air compressors, HVAC, and environmental issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance procedure manuals.
  • Experience with environmental safety and health guidelines including a biological waste treatment system and city/county/state/federal regulations.
  • Ability to write and analyze routine reports and correspondence to minimize unplanned downtime, improve efficiency/reliability and reduce operating and maintenance costs.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Lean / 5S tools and leading cost-saving initiatives to consistently drive down waste.
  • Experience in Capital Project development and cost justifications/budgeting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational/problem-solving skills in order to identify opportunities for improvement and implement accordingly.
  • Must be flexible, possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
